Rotate PDF
Rotate pages 90°, 180° or 270°. Per-page or all pages. Offline in your browser.
How it works
Drop a PDF and every page appears with its own rotation control showing the current angle. Click a page to turn it another 90°, keep clicking to reach 180° or 270°, and use Rotate all 90° when a whole scan came in sideways. Reset clears everything back to the file’s original angles. Download writes the rotated document.
Rotation is relative
The angle you set is added to whatever rotation the page already carried, which is what you want when a scanner has already tagged some pages. A page that was stored at 90° and clicked once ends up at 180°, not back at 90°. The label under each page always shows the change you have queued, not the absolute result.
Limits
Rotation is metadata, not pixels — the page content is untouched and the file barely changes size. Nothing else about the document is modified. If no rotation is set, Download tells you so instead of handing back an identical file. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are refused, and very large documents are bounded by browser memory rather than any server limit.
Why it runs in your browser
Setting a page angle is one of the cheapest things you can do to a PDF, and there is no reason it should involve a round trip to somebody’s server. pdf-lib rewrites the rotation entries locally and hands you the file. Nothing is uploaded, so a sideways scan of a passport or a signed form stays where it started.
